Does anybody know anythign about these?
I am looking for a wetsuit to do several races this season, but cannot spend alot of money. Is .5mm-1.0mm enough bouyancy to give me the advantage I’m looking for?

“Is .5mm-1.0mm enough bouyancy to give me the advantage I’m looking for?”
absolutely not. take a pass.
Wetsuits are probably the most important piece of equipment that you really need to try on first. Before I bought mine, I tried on QR, Orca, and Ironman sleeveless and sleeved before deciding. The QR just fit the best, so I bought it. Also, the addage “Buy cheap, buy twice” applies. I’d be less worried about buying a good brand through ebay, but that’s just me.
I thought you were going to wait and see if you like all this nonsense before buying a wetsuit? Getting anxious with 81 days to go?
Not meant to provide floatation, just a little warmth and I stress a little. We were thinking of getting my friend’s mom one of those but more for swimming in a pool to keep here warm.
SKIP for tris for sure.
Hi there,
The most important thing about a wetsuit is fit. I would suggest getting to a shop that has a few brands to try each one on for the best fit.
Good luck.
Not anxious. I just like to give myself any potential advantage to insure finishing this silly race. I will wait to see how I do in June before I decide on a suit.
