Finally going to test out (or just flat out upgrade) to a data plan with AT&T (formerly Cingular, formerly AT&T Wireless).
Anyone have a data plan dis/like? Tips? Reco’s?
I have a Treo 600, basically plan on using it to sporadically check Gmail (and Gcal), some weather, score updates etc. I’ll probably come up with a few others uses once I get used to it.
Anyone syncing up with Gmail or any other webmail? Ideally I’d love to be able to have Gmail and Gcal sync to the native calendar/email applications.
I don’t have a Treo, but on my Motorola V180, I loaded the app from Google and get Google mail on my AT&T phone. Very easy to setup on a regular phone.
i still have my attwireless plan. “mMode” or something like that. it’s good for checking (but not sending) email, and for checking the scores of baseball games.
I’d suggest signing up for the a small data plan and you have the ability to check via your phone or on the web via your account how much data usage you’ve used for the month. Its a nice feature. BTW, the Treo 600 is ooolllldddd and you might not be able to get some apps for palm os. You can get some really good deals on windows mobile devices these days.
