Did you get numbers from him? I think I sent him a request for info a while back and got on his list for when he gets his $$s figured out.
It was like 1500 last year, but the cheaper airfares havent been released yet.
When I researched my trip to Thailand last year I used Expedia and a travel agent in California- forgot the name-.
He was fully $300 less than even Expdia on the entire package. However, the things that ipressed me the most were his insights into housing athletes specifically: He knew to get me ground floor in Thailand because of my bike. I got into a hotel with breakfast included and it was inexpensive. Beautiful too. My hotel in Bangkok was a 5 star hotel and resonably priced.
I also used Deepak for the trip to New Zealand. Awesome trip! All the transfers went seamlessly and the bikes cases were handled perfectly and with care. He even went so far as to organize training swims for us there.
Deepak has gone the extra mile to research venues from an athletes’ perspective. He is familiar with the unique requirements of people travelling with bikes and trying to maintain good eating habits. He also knows you need to get decent rest during long trips and schedules your flights accordingly.
I am very pleased with him. I don’t get discounts or any perks for saying so.
