…does it shift ok? I really do dislike the Shimano connecting pin.
I bought a wipperman and an ultegra 10-speed to replace my old 8-speed. It shifts fine even with an old shimano 600 derailleur. I also hate using a chain tool once I have the length set. Give me the SRAM or wipperman easy link any day.

I have no experience with the Shimano chains, however I’m more than pleased with the 10x1 chains I use in a campagnolo 10s drivetrain.
If my perception is anything to go by, it is as good as my original Record C10 - perhaps a tad noisier in ideal circumstances, but definitely easier to keep clean thanks to the ConneX link.
(And after you break a chain from a misplaced connecting pin, you will note how the ease of a repeatable-accuracy connecting link is important)
