What did you think?
I use SMPs if that’s what you mean. I’ve had them for 2 years. I started with them on my tri bike, but got some for my road bike about 15 months ago. I like them. I don’t know why but I find them easier to pedal over the top. The are great for shoes-on-bike mount and dismount. I, personally, crank out the float, but I never really used it on my Looks anyway. The getting out takes a little getting used to and I recommend that you do it a bunch on a trainer at first, then do it every few minutes at the start of your first rides. Start with them set pretty loosely and gradually tighten them up as you get used to getting out.
When I ride my fixie or tandem I have to remember to exit the old way. I’ve had a few near falls on those bikes, as a result.
I’m not going to say what I think because it may seem as being biased.
However I thought it was on topic to mention that for the month of July, we are giving away a free KMC chain with every pair of pedals purchased either through your LBS or mail order (through R&A Cycles).
To recieve your free chain, simply send an email with your store reciept attached (scaned copy) and a note of your bike setup (9 or 10s, Campy or Shimano) along with a mailing address. Your chain(s) will then be mailed to you.
Thanks,
Tyler.
Anyone else… ?
