after a high-pressure shopping experience and a rushed 10 minute fit at a local well known tri store (and numerous other poor reports), I want to go somewhere else. I’m looking to replace my recently totaled Felt F90, and Upgrade is the closest dealer to me. has anyone used them before?
So is the insurance company going to pay up? What bikes are you looking at?
well…the adjuster said it may be a while because she has to speak with the attorney of the third party. she suggested I go buy a bike and send her the receipt. not ideal, but I don’t seem to have much of a choice if I want to train. also, since I don’t have a check in hand, I’m assuming I should just buy the same bike I had before.
If they are the guys on Chicago and Milwaukee, they are pretty good.
Mission Bay also sells Felt roadies and they are not too far away either. (Halsted and Randolph)
Haven’t heard of Upgrade…where are they located? If you’re willing to do a little driving, or hop on Metra you could check out Turin (Evanston) or Alberto’s (Highland Park) - both are Felt dealers.
