Now, I bet that the judges didn’t ride this at all but it seems an interesting design. I’ve used office chairs of the same design and they were pretty comfortable.

Interesting idea, but at 255 grams its a freaking boat anchor. My SLR gives me ultimate comfort at 135g.
Looked at it. Kinda like the Herman Miller Aeron chair, but didn’t seem too forgiving on the sides and nose.
it looked cool but the material was pretty abbrasive and as mentioned the sides and nose are pretty sharp and hard. The transition from the mesh to the frame is scary sharp and looks like it’ll shred shorts. I haven’t tried it though, just picked it up many times thinking how cool yet useless it looks.

Selle Italia Flite Ti gel = 264g
Definitely a boat anchor compared to the slr or the aspide composite (114g) but certainly not much different to other popular saddles.
I wouldn’t write it off on weight alone.
i saw it at the vega show in 2004 or 2003. although it looked like it would comform to your butt it wasn’t very comfortable
