Anyone see/try specialized's new tri shoes?

Any comments or reviews? I’m looking for some tri shoes that I can leave clipped in/ride without socks. My current shoes are both ratchet/3 strap road shoes. Thanks.

Dave

Dave,

I tried them on while in Kona 'cause I’m in need of a new pair. They were a comfortable fit, well ventilated, nice carbon sole, and I like the strapping system. I have recently tried models from Carnac, Shimano, Lake, and Sidi…the Specialized will be my next tri-shoes.

I concur with ShawnF. They look to be a well designed shoe. I tried a pair on but they didn’t quite fit. They didn’t have my size in stock but when they do, they’ll be mine. I liked the strapping system and the carbon sole. They also seemed to be lighter than my Carnac TRS 6 shoes.

I’ve been wearing their carbon road shoe with the same sole and footbed for over a year. A very nice shoe that does what it is supposed to do. The varus wedge and metatarsal button eliminated both the “hot foot” syndrome and my “figure 8” pedaling style. It really works.

I was not aware of these new tri shoes, and I’m gonna go check them out this weekend.
