Anyone see the new 2006 Cervelo Dual-SL?

Just stirring up a rumor here but I think Gerard should consider it for 2006. That black anondized finish on the P3-SL and P2-SL is hot!

Here is what Gerard had to say about a Dual-SL from a previous post:

“No”

and

"And why not a carbon Dual and a carbon SuperProdigy while we’re at it? As you may have noticed, we’re rather busy with the P3 Carbon and the Soloist Carbon and the new Bayonne. That will keep us busy for a while and besides, the P2K and P2 SL do just fine. There would have to be a good technical reason to make it in carbon, for example some shapes we cannot do in Aluminum (like with the P3 Carbon) or a weight target we cannot hit in Aluminum (such as on the Soloist Carbon). BTW, that’s about all I am willing to say about new projects.

FYI: SL does not mean carbon so I was not referring to a carbon Dual, just the anodized finish like on the P3-SL and P2-SL.

I think this finish would be a good idea since 2 out of 2 Cervelos I owned each had problems with the paint chipping. I am meticulous about how I care for my bikes and I have owned both Cannondale and QR painted aluminum bikes and I never had a problem with the paint chipping. For some reason this seems to be one of the only downsides I had with both my Dual and my P3.

I know SL does not mean carbon!

Here is the entire post, sorry for not linking before:

My 2004 Dual has some chips in the paint from general use. Having a tougher finish would be nice.
