He was totally downplaying Lance’s spring - “he’s behind schedule” “he’s not mentally involved”, “he’s never been this far behind before” “he is always well ahead of schedule”
I kept thinking “what a crock!” Lance has never been unprepared for anything. I couldn’t imagine his personality type, knowing full what it takes for the tour, to allow himself to be unprepared. I kept thinking “he doens’t really think we’re buying this, does he? His COACH telling us he’s not ready?”
Trying to psych the other guys out?
Anyway, I figured it was about time to start the Lance bashing. The Tour isn’t very far away.

He also finished by saying that Lance would definately win his seventh Tour. Sounds like he was just being honest.
