Anyone run Profile Design ZBS Ski Bends?

If so, can you tell me how them measure the length? They’re available in 225mm, 245mm & 265mm. But, I can’t find anything on how, exactly this number is measured.

Have them, love em, but not sure, as my bike is waiting for me tomorrow am in the IMC transition area. I got the 245mm, based upon some facebooking with PD. My reach is right to the end of the bars, which I like, but the longer bars may have been good for extra reach on downhills and such. My hands are mostly on the tops of the bars with the bar ends in my hands if that makes sense.

I will try to get you the length measurements, but they are really nice and clean. I like them.

Thanks, Brent. I’m not in a big hurry. So, I’ll ping you again after the race. It’ll give you something to do while you’re recovering. :wink: I’m mostly interested in the distance from the center of the armrests to the tip of the extensions (where the shifters plug in).

BTW, since you went with the 245s, how tall are you, and where do the cups rest (forearm vs elbow)? Do you have any pics of yourself in the bars, from the side in your normal riding position?

I’ll get some pics after the race. I’m 5’9, short legs, longer arms and body. Cups are under the elbows. Yeah, it’ll be good recovery stuff :slight_smile:

Sorry, totally blew this off. Looks like from bar tip to center of base bar is how they measured it. Right on 24.5 cm. If you’d like, I will get a picture tonight of me in the bars from the side. I’m just heading out the door…

Edit : measured on the diagonal, so straight line from bar tip to center of base bar is 24.5 cm. Hope that makes sense.

I’m looking at these too. Can you route the shifter cables internally? If not, I’d like to see that in your picture as well.
