My son and godson are staying for some days on vacation in Scottsdale, close to the Gainey Ranch Golf Course. They want to find out a group to ride with tomorrow Sunday (and probably all next week). I will appreciate any information regarding the possibility of them joining a group to ride with.
It seems that they have been riding in the last days around the area with a local rider but they just phoned me to tell me that he does not rides on Sundays. If you are riding in the area I can imagine that maybe you will see them. They are two kids, 14 and 15 year olds on black Soloists. My kid is the one wearing a CSC colored helmet and most of the time he has a ‘Carlos Sastre’ smile on his face (even if he is hurting)
AZ Tri Club has the Saturday Tribe group rides on it. Nothing for tomorrow, but there is also a Thursday group ride I believe. Call Tribe (480-421-9442) to find out details.
I don’t see anything obvious with Greater Arizona Bike Association but maybe that will help.
There is a ride every Sunday at Cave Creek and the 101…starts at 5:30am. Typically there are triathletes riding but alot of roadies also. have fun. They are a bit too fast for me.
Call the guys at Bicycle Showcase, 480.998.2776, they’ve got a group that leaves from the shop every morning and more are always welcome. Very close to where your cyclists are staying.
