Anyone ride on a Zoncolan? saddle rec's?

Just curious- Is there anyone who rides on a SSM Zoncolan? or any iteration of the saddle?
I noticed they discontinued the triathgel model- but they came out with a “Power” model for the bigger riders- at pushing clydesdale, thats me
Looks like it has a fairly cushy nose- and the Ponza Lux that came with my bike is an absolute waste.

I need a new saddle- I tip the scales at just over 200- hopefully get under by summer, my position is pretty stretched out, thinking about pulling the stem back 10mm… but anyways

Any reccomendations? (any way to give em a test ride before dropping 100$+ on something?)

I ride the regular Zoncolan on my roadie. The regular SSM SIZE 235. I just got it and have put maybe ~200 miles on it so far. I am 150-160lbs during the season. I like it.

It’s very flat side-side, and also front to back. Contrast to the Arione where it slopes down more from the center towards the sides and feels like a wedge in my crack on longer rides. It’s a FIRM saddle, with the only real padding up on the nose tip. The nose of the saddle is very narrow which makes for good thigh clearance if you’ve got thick drumsticks =). Lighter than an Arione but not close to SLR territory in weight and minimalism.

It’s fairly easy to move around on, but not a saddle to sit on the nose for a while. Short stints is fine, and because of the narrow nose, you need to choose a side to put the gear.

Keep in mind this is all from the road bike perspective. I have not tried it or any variation thereof on the tri-bike. Hope that helps!

Thanks- thats the best ive heard so far. I just think it looks pretty cool, and seems to have a nice nose.
i definetly need to get rid of the piece of $hit thats on the bike now

i will sell you one used on two trainer rides for $75. just don’t like it. my sit bones are hitting hard on the flat spot. if interested, let me know. my size saddle, i think 143, is in the same range that sella san marco recommends for you. good luck,
