From one of the many ebay frame manufactures out of China,
Anyone recognize this frame from one of the “name brand” TT frames or is this just a new design.
I came across this over at Roadbikereview.com posted from someone looking possibly sell it in the US. The thing that concerns me with these type frame are are they just a fancy looking frame with no or possible negative aero traits.
Fixed the Red X, now my hosting website looks to be down so the red X is back.
Here is a link to the frame
O those crafty chinese manufacturers, trying to sell you a look alike. They have some nerve putting out a bike brand called “Planet RED X”. Oh wait, all that is on my screen is a red x. In that case I withhold judegement.
It might be on my end, but all I see is an X
fixed the Red X
Just an FYI, but if the image location URL (MLKImages) is supposed to be the one that’s in your profile as well, then the one in your profile is missing an “I”.
No clue on the frame, but it’s pretty sweet looking! ETA: I REALLY like the yellow and green versions!
Who would ever need THAT much steering tube on the fork?
Give it a few months and someone will post a position critique of themselves on this frame with that many spacers…
What about on my 61?
thats a little bike- has almost no headtube- my P2 has 190mm head tube, the cap, and a stem on it- which calls for about 230mm of steer tube? and I have 1cm of spacers on top, just in case. Make one fork to fit every size, cut accordingly.
Looks like it took the downtube curve from a Wilier, the P3 seattube ripoff of a Transition (yes, a ripoff of a ripoff), the nose cone of an Ordu, the top tube of a Montello, and the fork of a Planet X.
