Thinking about investing in a 2007 Orbea Ordu… can any owners of this bike give me some feedback? Thoughts? Thanks gang.
I own an '07 Ordu - have so for just about one year. I have found this bike to be one of the most comfortable, responsive, and fun bikes I have ever owned. The craftmanship is incredible - making it by far the sexiest bike I have ever ridden. Also, it is plenty stiff - important to me because I ride a 55 chainring and like to mash big gears. This is my knee jerk response - Are there any specific questions I can answer?
Love mine! Paint on mine is a little suspect but they are willing to take a look at it once my season is over and it should be covered by warranty.

Do you mean the “old” 2007, or the new model? I have the older one and love it. Except for the ORDU thingee that came off, the bike is awesome. Def get fit first, Orbeas sizing can be a bit different.
I was getting a quick tune up a couple weeks ago and noticed an Ordu waiting for service. I commented to the mechanic about how it was a nice looking ride and he said that they had two frames that had to be returned due to cracks in the last month. He said that one of them was in the chainstay due to over-zealous riding on a trainer. I can’t remember where the other one cracked but he did not seem to be impressed with the bike in general.
I would probably still consider getting one if it had a steeper seat angle.
I have an 07 Ora which is the same bike but the carbon weighs a little more plus the paint is in a different scheme. The only real problem I’ve had was the bolts on the seat post clamp (which is alll part of the frame) stripped. The shop I got it from sent it back and it was retapped by the company.
