Anyone know where I can get Campagnolo parts without remortgaging my house?

I need to convert a Campy record front derailleur from clamp on to braze-on. The picture below shows the parts I need in yellow, but I am ashamed to mention how much the LBS quoted me for just one of the small parts ($65 !!!)

Anyone know where I could get these?

9 speed? Shoot me your address, I will mail you a lightly used Record 9 F. Der.

10 speed. I can’t believe how much a small Campy part costs! I do love Campy though.

Although the picture shows 9 speed, the parts are the same.

I looked, your shop quoted you a price so high that you wont buy it - probably due to the fact that Quality has none, no ETA and you would never get it. Maybe Gita has it, but I doubt it. That part would have to be imported.

Damn. Thanks for looking though.

Talk to Campione in Vancouver. If they don’t have what you need, give Vecchio’s in Boulder a call

Campy gear is easy to buy and sell on eBay. Why not just buy the one you need used and then sell yours? Also, I am using a 9-speed Campy front derailleur with my 10-speed setup on my rain bike and it works pretty well. You can throw the chain a little easier but if it is adjusted well it works great.

I went through the same drill w/ my older 8-spd stuff when changing frames… just got a whole NOS replacement FD off eBay or about half what a current (then) 9-spd cost, or what your LBS quoted for the small adapter parts.

I believe you can use Record10carbon’s braze-on mounting portion but put your body on it. unscrew part fdre107 and remount the body onto his bracket (i.e.re201).

I agree that swapping for a used FD is the easiest and likely lowest cost choice. If you do need Campy parts, branfordbike.com is recommended.
