There is an Ebay retailer with the handle “jonesbikes” that has a “power seller” rating, and apparently also operates a brick and mortar store out of Long Beach, CA. 99.6% positive feedback, but 2 negatives within the past 6 months and 6 neutrals within the past year. Most of the issues seem to stem from communication problems between them and the buyer, so it’s difficult to say what really happenned or who was at fault/
So… Before I bid… Has anyone ever have any dealings with them?

I live in the LBC (Long Beach) and have dealt with Jones Bikes in the past. They have 2 retail stores in the area. They are not really tri-shops but more road and mtb shops. However, I have purchased numerous parts and such from them and never had a problem. Prices are generally good and lower than other mega-stores in the area (SuperGo i.e.) I wouldn’t sweat it any more than any other E-bay retailer. Late.
I bought a pair of pedals from them. they state clearly in their ad that they’re not in the office on thursday/Fri. Maybe people didn’t see that and got mad when they didn’t hear from them. Who knows?
My experience was fine. I ordered on Wed, I fully didn’t expect them to ship til Monday, and they did exactly that.

It’s been a few years, but I bid on pedals, called them about shipping arrangements, and ended up getting a great deal on a seatpost and areo bars. Great experience.
