I have the very Roomba pictured. It’s awesome. We really enjoy having it and it does a good job on our hardwood floors.

I don’t have one but I"ve heard good things about them from everyone that does.
I don’t have one either but it doesn’t look like it would get in the corners very well. Also I don’t think it is technically a vacuum but rather a sweeper.

My wife has one and she loves it. It does do a great job on our kitchen and dinning/family room floors (tile). I call home from work to ask how her day is going and she tells me how busy she is.
Me–“How’d it going honey?”
Her–“Busy cleaning the floors right now”
in fact she’s watch All My Children and playing solitaire on the computer while the dang robot does all the work.

woot.com is selling the iRobot DirtDog Model 1100 today Thursday.
I’ve read a few reviews where they put the roomba up against some very high end $2000 machines and the roomba had the best performance. I don’t have one myself though. I think once my dog got over initial shock, she would kill it completely if we let it run when we weren’t watching…
How lazy does someone have to be before they get one? I might just qualify, because a 20x20 room in my house is just too big for me to broom and mop. Plus I am way too busy to do it myself, as shown on my time spent on ST.
As a bit of an aside, has anyone else seen the SNL skit for the WOOMBA? Every time I see or hear about the Roomba…that skit pops into my head. LOL…
I love my Roomba. Costco is selling them now. You do have to be one lazy bastard to get one though.

I tie dry rags to one of my cats and he runs around and sweeps…then the other two cats run around, one with wet rags tied to em and does the wet mopping…the third cats comes by with dry towel tied to him and dries the floor.
