The little rubber protector thing that covers the charging/data transfer port on my unit is gone. I called Garmin support & they said I was out of luck (unless it was within the warranty period, then they’d swap it for a different unit.) Now I am hesitant to use this thing in the rain or when I expect to be sweating heavily (I wear it on an armband that gets soaked when I run). So my $300 unit has been crippled by the lack of availability of a $0.01 replacement piece.
Anyone out there have a unit that they ran over with their car or something & could pull that little rubber piece off for me?
