Curious if anyone out there had a Bontrager Aeolus Disc Wheel? Is it reliable and can it be trued? I have had a couple of Zipp 900 discs and the run out sucks and the longer I have them they get worse to the point I can’t run the brakes close.
I wonder if its make by HED?
It is my understanding that the Bontrager Aeolus disc is currently out of production due to high manufacturing costs. Not sure if it will ever return. IIRC the wheel was designed with help from HED. My gut feel is that Bontrager might not resume production now that HED has the Jet and Stinger disc wheels but I could be wrong.
