Anyone had hip arthroscopy?

Hello,

Has anyone gone through hip arthroscopy. I am located in north east Indiana, I thought someone had mentioned a Doctor in Michigan who had high credentials.

Jamie-hip arthroscopy has not been around as long as arthroscopy of other joints when considering volume. Prior to having one, I would make sure that the physician felt that the MRI findings matched the symptoms seen and that the surgery had a pretty good chance or remedying them.

Also, you want a surgeon who’s done lots of these. In my mind if they’re not doing at least 25-50 a year I’d find one who was. I’ll give you a couple names of orthopedic surgeons who are nationally recognized for their hip arthroscopy skills that aren’t too far from you:

Hello John,

Thanks so much for your reply and the two doctors you listed. I am going to try one more injection and see how things go, the last injection lasted about three years, and feels as though it is worse this go around.
