Why would I want to use it if it’s not porn?
Seroiusly, slowman wrote a review here: http://www.slowtwitch.com/mainheadings/prodreview/newproduct/m2racer.html
Over the past few months there have been a few discussions about these M2Racers. A quick overview:
Not made very well (experiences by a few of them breaking during a ride)
The rails are not quite the same width as a seatpost clamp
Rails are not parrallel
QR skewer breaks
All in all…I have one on my XL Softride SE7 to give me more seat hieght so the frame fits me. It was tought o put on (see #2 and 3 above). I have no intention moving the the seat fore or aft…I only use it to get extra bb to seat rail height.
That gives me an idea. I might be able to mount a Neverreach behind the saddle on my SR TT7. Up to now I’d wanted to try one but they won’t readily fit with a standard set up.
I liked Slowman’s idea for fine tuning seat position without having to constantly get out the Allen wrench, which is a bigger deal on the SoftRide.
