They’ve got some pretty good deals on Stearns & Foster mattresses but I have never purchased anything like this online before.
can’t help with US mattress in particular, but what i tend to do when looking at making LARGE purchases (physically or $$) on-line is research the store thoroughly. google search it’s name + “bad experience” or something similar. surely there are some comments out there. check with S&F that they’re an authorized dealer, if you’re concerned about the warranty. other than that, just be sure you’re aware of their return policy, if there is one. is there a restocking fee? who pays return shipping? etc etc. you may not want to be stuck with a mattress that you find to be uncomfortable after a few weeks of sleeping on it…whereas a local store might have a policy which lets you return it without any questions. (I don’t know to be honest, haven’t bought a mattress).
Yeah I’ve done a little of that already. Most of the negative comments I’ve seen so far are around shipping and that the items arrived a few days later than promised. Not a big deal for me. Thanks for the advice.
