Anyone else wear running/biking socks to work?

I notice when looking in my sock drawer that I do not have very many “normal” pairs of socks. Most of the time I end up wearing some running/biking socks with my khakis I wear to work. I figure no one really looks at your socks at work and instead of going through twice as many socks I just assume wear the ones im going to work out in later in the day. I never really thought about this until I was reading in USA today about employers being more relaxed with a younger workforce and mainly the younger workers wearing socks with more personality. I dont do it for that reason, I do it because it is practical. Does anyone else do this?

I think my ownership of dress socks has dwindled down to about 5 pair. I must own about 20-30 pairs of running/cycling socks. You’re not alone.

Running/biking socks are the only socks I wear If any. Then again, I don’t wear suits.

I do not wear socks when I bike (and therefore commute to work). I do however when I run.
That being said, you would never never caught me with running socks while dressed (and of course socks must match the shirt/tshirt)! Similarly you will never caught me with a running/biking top if I am not biking/running.
The only time I would wear them would be if (for example) we go grocery shopping and I run back home.

Must be my French fashion sense!

Cheers,
Fred.

sockless right now; mainly since I have a huge blister on my heel. That said, I’ve worn plenty of workout socks to work during the summer since they’re more comfy.

I’m assuming, of course, that the wrokout sox wearers are not in a highly visible position in an office?

B

Mine only show when I am sitting and when I am sitting the desk and trash pale next to me block any outside view of them.

I wear my running socks usually Smartwool Micro running cut. But again I wear shorts and running shoes to work

On casual days, I wear my black cycling socks with my khakis & golf shirts. However, I only wear dress socks when I put on slacks and a tie or a suit. I’m pretty pathetic when it comes to fashion, but not that bad.

I do every day. ALthough I wear vans and jeans everyday in a business casual office. One of the bonuses to be a science guy, no one cares. That being said i even do it with a suit on. Dopers Suck socks make nice black socks.
