Anyone else waiting on a Felt (S22 to be exact?)

I ordered a Felt S22 (56) back in the middle of January. I STILL have not gotten it. Apparently, according to the LBS, there is a significant delay in the manufacturing of these frames, due to the high demand. They hope to have it to be in the next few weeks.

I am just getting really anxious to get it and the waiting is driving me nuts. My current bike is on its last legs and I hate riding it! Does this sound normal or is the LBS giving me a line?

my buddy just bought one two weeks ago at the local lbs. it was in stock. probably smaller than a 56 though. if you want to come to rochester, ny, you may be able to pick one up.

I ordered a Felt cross bike some time ago… maybe February? Still no word. It’s a mistery to me - evertime I have ordered a bike (different manufacuters too), I’ve had to wait quite a while for it to finally show up…

I did buy a new S22 too, but I ordered it last fall… It didn’t take too long to show up. I love the color!

I tried to buy a Felt in the beginning of December, in March I was told the ship carrying the Felts was almost to the U.S.

Actually just spoke with the LBS. Good news! My bike was shipped to them yesterday from California. Should be about 10 days until its in my hands. YIPPEE!

I hope my e-mail didn’t sound like I was bad-mouthing Felt or my LBS. I know that things things happen and I have been patient. I was just getting a little antsy about it! :slight_smile:

I think RA Cycles in Brooklyn,NY has a 56 in stock.

Not to hi jack this thread , but, Herschel since you’re in Roch,NY…are you doing Musselman ?

hey swordfish, yup i’m doing musselman. i’ve always done tupper lake but i’m glad to have something much closer. finally, i can sleep in my own bed for a 1/2 im!!! too bad i’m underprepared this year - an 8month old daughter can do that to you. you should do it - supposed to be great. good luck!
