Take2!!! I am back, in the crown room hoping to get out again… wish i knew you were here, maybe i could of helped. Are you still here?
still drinking? good god, you posted at 6:45!!
Merry christmas in the desert!
Ohio weather can be very difficult this time of year. I lived there 16 years, so I know what you are facing.
On a more humorous note, my son flew to Nassau on Wednesday, on his way to a chef’s job at Club Med in San Salvador, but he couldn’t get a flight out! So, he’s been stuck in Nassau for two days. I hope he recovers… ![]()
Bon Chance, M.!

No no… I did not drink at all but I had the option to, free drinks in the crown room. But I am here in Montreal now, made it. it is really weird that Montreal’s weather is MUCH MUCH better and the roads are cleared here! Merry christmas everyone ![]()
don’t feel too bad - my parents are tryign to get from Phoenix to Cleveland - three day wait to get a new flight after theirs was canceled - if everything goes well they will get here just in time to leave.
Glad to see you made it out of Cinci. As you can guess by my delayed response, I have been traveling all day long and finally made it to Albany. Of course, my bags did not, but that’s okay (I’m sure they will turn up somewhere).

Sorry to hear they got held up - on the bright side - they’re somewhat warmer than we are right now.
Would have been nice to have them around for Xmas though!

I left Thursday late morning for Flint, Michigan, from San Diego, via Cincinnati. I was watching the news, seeing that Cinci was under a lot of snow and the airport was closed until noon there. Somehow my flight was still scheduled, on time, everything. I was thinking, “There’s no way they’ll fly us into that airport if it’s really bad, and leave me stuck there. I’m sure they’ll reroute us in the air or something.”
HAAAAAAAAA!!! No, they dropped us right into Cinci with everyone else, and I WAS F&*K%D! After finally finding a cot at 2 AM in one of the terminals, I slept for about 3 hours. Woke up with a family sleeping on the floor next to me. I couldn’t believe it. People crying, screaming, angry, sleeping everywhere. It was a total homeless shelter! I couldn’t get on a confirmed flight until Christmas night, but luckily my repeated attempts to go to the counter saved me and got me on an opening on Friday night, Christmas Eve. WHAT A LUCKY BREAK! Every flight from Comair was canceled on Christmas and nearly all flights for today.
And I still don’t have my baggage. All the Christmas gifts I brought for the family, all my training clothes, everything is no where to be found. And it’s not like you can train here without the training clothes, IT WAS 2 DEGREES HERE YESTERDAY! NOT INCLUDING WIND CHILL! It’s bad enough I’m wearing my brother’s boxers!
Of course, I guess I should feel lucky. I met plenty of people in Cinci who were on their 3rd day of trying to catch a flight. Now I must battle it all over again when I leave on Tuesday morning. Considering all the mayhem, I don’t think I can change, and I probably need to get back to training anyway!
Hopeless in Cincinnati…
Oh yeah I hear you… I am leaving now, to return… they cancelled my flight, rebooked me on Northwest with a bad schedule, reinstated my flight and switched me… So here I go, wish me luck, hoping to make it back… i feel for me, I live in cincy, got to sleep back home on thursday and knew about all this so only packed a carry on. good luck… The saga continues!!! All that because comair had their computer broke… Life has to suck for their business … really…
