I’m doing it in February. Really just a nice excuse for a trip to St. John. Sounds, um…tough!
I was living on St. John in the late 90s and helped Peter Alter with some of the setup in the first years of the race. I was not a runner at the time so I drove the SAG wagon carting everyone’s backpacks etc. from the start to the finish.
It’s a tough run. Now that I am a runner I would like to get back to do the race myself. I am really happy to see that it has grown into such an event. Plus, St. John is such a beautiful island I’m sure you will have a great trip.
