It’s on the race track at Watkins Glenn. If I still lived in Rochester I’d be there. If anyone does it, please post a race report.
Sounds like unique venue, not very scenic but would be fun to do once.
I was out at the race track today, getting a final mapping of the run course. I’m the RD and I’ll try to get a race report posted here after the race. I’ll also ask some competitors to post and let you know how it all went…
In my completely unbiased opinion, I think it’s going to be a fun race - wish I could do it myself! They are finishing up last-minute construction on the track for Opening Day on Sunday, and it looks to be in excellent shape. I had hoped that registration numbers would be higher, but for a first-year race I can’t complain.

I think you have a great thing going. You should expand it to tracks around the country, just so I can do a race here at Road Atlanta.
i was planning on it, but i’m going out of town for a wedding. next year.
That sounds like fun. If it wasn’t my son’s birthday that weekend, I’d try and make it.
