Water won’t be that cold there. It is pretty shallow in that part of bay and temps usually warmer than other parts of bay. But I agree with other poster than entry fee is pretty out of line. I realize this is charity event but $225 seems pretty steep for an Oly race. I guess they figure folks in Marin can afford it I won’t pay that much for an Oly race just on principal.
could not agree more. Even though I live in Marin I still would not want to pay that much for an OLY race.
Than again I would save on hotel and travel cost, so it would still be cheaper for me.
