The acceptance notes went out this week. Did anyone apply to get in? Did you?
I wanted to try in 2010 but it is more likely 2011.
One of my friends got in this year(I think) after 3 or 4 years of applying and not getting in, he just piled on the ultra races and ultra bike rides etc until they accepted his resume. I would also like to do badwater one day.
That’s pretty much my strategy paired with crewing every year until they let me in. I’ve been there the last 2 summers and will go back again this summer if I can find a runner who needs 2 crew members.
