Anybody live in Fort Collins, Colorado?

I am a country guy at heart so I appreciate being able to be on a large plot of land, but still be able to drive to a half way decent pool, grocery store, etc. I can ride gravel or road from the house (same with running). I didn’t see anything like that in Ft. Collins outside of Masonville general area. But hey, to each their own

There are plenty of areas like that around Ft. Collins. It is in essence an Ag College. Plenty of farmland and open spaces. Especially at the fringes.

If you go east into Weld County or north towards WY, there is virtually unlimited land for exactly what you describe within 30ish minutes of town. If you go west towards the first hills, then yes, there is less and it is significantly more expensive (although there are several “estates” for a lack of a better term) in that general area that have lots of land and are beautiful … millions $$$ but very, very nice.

For a small city, traffic in FtC is pretty bad.

Sorry I should have been more specific. A plot of land that is convenient to the ammenties I listed, and can also ride road and gravel from the front door. We are in Northeast Longmont in Weld County. If you less than a 1/2 mile north the mailing address changes to Mead.

We will have to go check out the FtC area a bit more.

Open to any good restaurants in the area to check out. The decent restaurants are few and far between in Longmont so we typically go towards Denver or Boulder.
