I am about to buy a 2007 Caliente frame, anyone know if they are any major changes for '08?

I think the frame itself is the same as '05 and '06 other than adding replaceable drop outs and improving the seat post collar. I suppose the ti version is only change that is public. I think those molds cost so much they don’t want to change them too often. I have the 06 Lucero and my only complaint is the inabilty to suck in the rear tire very close to seat tube fairing (despite horizontal drop outs). The tire bumps up against the seat stay bridge before you can get super close. Other than that it is pretty nice frame, although I doubt as aero as Cervelo P2C.
Where are you getting a Caliente frame from? I was looking around for one awhile back and the only QR frames I could find from dealers was the Lucero. Only complete bikes for the other models.
You might have to wait until Interbike…which is in 5 weeks or so…
I was offered a crash replacement warranty from QR, so I would be buying an 08 frame at a “good” price but still a significant amount for me. I had to send back my 06 frame (got it Jan 06) as it was in bad shape after 16 months of training in the rough conditions. I was hoping to get my frame fixed up under warranty and later in the year buy a P3C or something else. I have really liked the Caliente, but just wanted to try soemthing else… but I guess I will buy the 07 which has a totally diferent paint job.
