We’re there this coming weekend for Carnival. Any STers there who want to linkup for beers, a run, etc?

Damn! It’s not often that I can meet a fellow STer in Quebec city! I’m in Sri Lanka until the end of March so this won’t be possible! If you have any question, feel free to PM me. You can also PM Moonover who is staying really close to the old Quebec and participating in the 100/100.

Enjoy the Carnival! It’s the best time to go to Quebec city. You will love it!

By the way, I hope you have reservation because hotel’s are booked a year in advance…

I’m so jealous! We were in Quebec City last summer and had a really great time!! I bet it’s a blast during their Carnival.

Some great restaurants along Rue St. Jean outside of the old city. We went to a crepe place there that was really good. There’s also a pizza place that has an amazing appetizer of different spices that they bring out in a mortar and pestle. You then dip fresh bread in olive oil and then the spices. It was delicious! I have to try to make that for myself here.

Ah… memories!! Spent four years there at Université Laval. Spring, summer, fall, winter. It’s always a good time to be in Quebec City. I always look forward to going back there.

at the Carnaval you dont drink beers, you drink Cariboo in a carnaval plastic cane. You have to go at a bar call “Chez son pere”

have a good one and please dress warm cause it can be really cold. Have a good one.
