Any Slowtwich'in Chi Runners out there?

I’m a big, slow runner (6’3", 210 lbs) and thinking about Pose or ChiRunning. Was it really that dramatic an improvement? I’d be thrilled to drop my run pace from 9 min to 8 min.

I’m a big slow runner, too. 6-3, 230. It took a few weeks to really start feeling right. Read the book first. Just mid-foot striking and leaning from the heels. It certainly helps me use less energy for the same amount of work. I also seems to not drum up so much shock.

I think Chi, Pose Method, and what I’ve read about Bobby McGee’s lessons on Gordo’s site all have the same principles. Forward. No heel striking. Short, quick strides. Stride opens out the back. Elbows swing to the rear. Pretty neat actually …
