Not sure about Kona vs interbike, but talking to a LBS guy today, he said he heard at least one top, if not more, will be introducing models with disc brakes soon about maybe the 5K price point. Yea, maybe I will get to buy a new one for next season.
I would think all the people who are crazy enough to think that riding a TT bike for 112 miles,… before running a marathon (emphasis on crazy) would be all over a Speed Concept with the IsoSpeed decouplers.
Just stating the obvious, but all my predictions of a new Shiv have been wrong for years! Shiv 2018 makes its first appearance at Tour de Suisse (same prediction since 2015).

Just keep waiting. I have an old P2 as well and I’m not buying another bike until more disc brake bikes come out.
I told the guys at Canyon this during the Pure Festival back in the Spring. I would be buying a new tt ride early next year. If the Speedmax had discs, they’d get my money. If not, I’ll likely pick up a Parlee. Simple as that

Parlee is a great looking bike, but loaded up you are well over 10K. Too much for my budget
Looking for a new triathlon bike for next season and am curious what, if any, new bikes are rumored to be coming out soon.
Trek Speed Concept: As per the Trek 2018 thread, it seems curious that there is a 2018 mid-range Speed Concept on the website but no high-end model.
Canyon USA Release: Bueller?
Cervelo P2/P3/P5 Update: Any one hear of a P5X trickle down update to the rest of the line?
Specialized Shiv: Similar to Trek, there are only mid-range models on the website and an S-Works frame set.
Anything Else?
anything new coming out won’t be any faster than the bikes out now or 5 or 10 years ago.
spend it on something else that will make you go faster.
But it will make me stop faster.
Since my disc wheel just went back, I need to buy a new rear race wheel. Would I buy another 10 speed wheel? Nope.
Why would I buy something this is old stuff, meaning a wheel that is not a disc brake.
I hear the P2/P3’s from Cervelo have been totally sold out of their stock. So, something new is coming to replace this inventory.
Is it just the newest mechanical group? Or, something else?
Guess we will know shortly from many mfg’s. I still have heard Felt is coming out with one for 2018 with disc brakes

Not even the bike pro’s will use them when it matters: why wasn’t Uran using the disc equipped Super Slice in the most important TT of his life a few weeks ago? I’m sure he had to brake somewhere.

I had completely forgotten about the Parlee TTR. Looks like a really nice option if you want a disc brake bike. Pricing is what it is I guess. Looks like about 6k for a complete Ultegra mech bike with training wheels.
