Any info on K- Factor SL?

I just saw the new K-Factor SL. Which sports a new seat tube cut out, an aero seatpost, and possibly different down tube. Any information on this new bike. All three sports has it listed at about $2500 if you use their kit builder, or 2000 for the frameset.

Any more information on this bike? Any change in geometry from the K Factor?

Bump for the day crowd.

Looks nice

Runless - I just rode the SL at Nytro. Really nice ride. I’m in the same boat as you though, lack of more detailed information. I’ve been to All3Sports.com but still have questions such as full specs, colors, etc. Kuota doesn’t even have the bike listed on their website! Goes to show you how interested they are in triathletes vs. roadies over in Italy. Let me know if you find out more information.

I won’t be getting a bike until next year so I’m not in much of a hurry. Though having the bike picked out would probably help in the saving process.

One thing I would ask you is, Was the downtube thinned up from the 07 Kuotas? Say like a Cervelo/Felt?

One thing is for sure it looks good, and if it had geometry more like the Kalibur it may be all the convincing I need.

As far as I remember the downtube wasn’t thinned up from the '07. If it was I didn’t pay that much attention to it, apart from the internal cable routing. The major change is the seat tube geometry and integral seat post. Also there is a 200 gr drop in weight due to change in carbon batch. So does this strike a midpoint between the K-Factor and Kalibur? Perhaps.

Anyone seen the K-Factor SL in white?

Just in nude carbon so far…

it’s got an aero seatpost, comes with d/a shifters and rear derailleur, and ultegra front der., crank, and brakes, and profile design t2 wing and aeros. the cost is ~$3000 for that setup.

The K-Factor SL frame is a little bit different then the K-factor featuring new decals, internal cable routing, and
it’s got a beefier bottom bracket making it a little bit stiffer. For the complete bike the K-factor SL is built up
with an Ulegra/DA mix rather than the 105/Ultegra mix (also Fulcrum 5 vs Fulcrum 7). The goal was to give a person a
better spec’d bike but with the the geomtetry of the K-factor, which less aggressive than the Kalibur.
