I measured it at ~40* the first week of May. Anyone know what it is now?
I’ve been searching for a website that will give the temp, but have come up empty so far. I swam in it last week and found it comfortable in my wetsuit, but didn’t have any way to get the temp. It wasn’t so cold that it took your breath away for the first minute or so, as is sometimes the case. It also clearly wasn’t balmy, but it was warm enough that all the kids on the beach were able to stay in it for extended periods of time and not get blue lips. After the first “shock” of getting the water into the wetsuit, I felt comfortable in it. I wore a swim cap, but no neoprene hood or anything else. Maybe that means mid 60s???
