Shoulder raises are good (front, side, back). My team also did a lot of stretch cord stuff. I also recommend doing lat pulldowns and excercises to strengthen your rotator cuffs. Hope this helps…

fly back breast free
fist drill… teaches you to use your forearms as a pulling surface.
For dry-land training, it has been suggested to me to do exercises that strengthen the SUPPORTING muscles, NOT the main muscles that I am already taxing repeatedly in the pool.
Also, it has been suggested to me that I TAKE IT EASY in the gym. Light weight, High Reps, NOT to failure. And CORE WORK.
Conversely, it has been suggested to me that I NOT take it easy in the pool!

On a slightly different tack, on a not-necessarily-so-recent podcast, I remember Roch Frey & Paul Huddle interviewing Heather Fuhr (at least I think it was; feel free to correct me) about Paddle Boarding and Heather (allegedly) said it had helped improve her swim times. That sounds like a lot more fun than the gym! Can’t wait until I can get me one of those!
Later!
