Any GoldenCheetah Mac OSX experts?

I was looking how to delete old cyclist profiles that I no longer need. Is there any easy way to do this?

in the finder select Go and then Go To Folder…
type in ~/Library/GoldenCheetah
delete the profiles you don’t need anymore

If I want to backup my GoldenCheetah files, do I just go to “~/Library/GoldenCheetah” and make a copy of that file? I am trying to backup my files as I am going to wipe my hard drive and reinstall my OSX.
