Any Given Day at Bikesport you might find.... (photo)

We do, and I worked on his bikes, shoes and pedals at different times during his career as did about a million other guys.

The live classical music in the shop is the kind of off-beat thing that really appeals to me. It’s a great touch. Most shops have some blah, blah, blah muzak playing in the back-ground lulling you to ZZZZzzzzzzzzz . . . or loud rock music playing - very annoying.

Now this, this is obviously a shop with class and style.

With respect, the picture on the bottom should be in the hottie thread.

Wow.

Obviously, he has been fitted to his Viola in your shop. Note the angle of his neck, and the way he seems to be skeletally supported in a comfortable way…looks like he could play all day in that position

Terry in MN said: Next time he comes in, find out where he is originally from. I honestly think his mom was my orchestra teacher - same last name and I swear her son was named Jim.

Hi… I’m Jim’s son (Noah) and yes, my grandmother was a cello player and orchestra teacher. Yes, this is true, when you walk into Bikesport you could find someone preparing for their first Ironman or a world champion.

Okay, dumb question that shows my ignorance … but, I’m unsure who she is.

Who is she?

Hey Tom, how’d you do that…

Judith looks a lot older in this picture!

2004 Triathlon World Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist (swimming, Atlanta) and two time Olympic Triathlete Sheila Taormina.

Holy crap…Fred Moore Jr. high! That is the most bizarre thing and I am glad I posted my suspicion! But I was pretty sure because your father looks a lot like Mrs. Van. in the eyes especially with the glasses. How is she doing?

I was going to give you a hard time for having a messy-looking shop, you know - with the boxes piled up. Until I saw the second picture. Shop looks great!

Our store goes from being spotlessly clean to a total mess in 30 minutes. WE get one or two UPS shipments a day and a Fedex truck, sometimes two. After that happens it is a mad dash to get everything priced and put out and the store is pretty hit.

Then we get it all cleaned up and everything is fine again. It is alternately order and chaos.
