Any Feedback on the new V Flow +?

I am looking to replace my saddle. I have been riding the adamo but lately it is causing some problems. I was looking at the website and was hoping some of you have ridden it and possibly could contrast it to the adamo.

Thanks for the input.

I have only ridden the V-Flow Plus once, on a 25 mile “test” ride. All I can say is that I didn’t notice anything. This is good. The miles went by fast and I didn’t once think about trying to get comfortable. I moved forward and back on it, trying to see if there is an optimal spot but will need to keep playing with it. I will be able to ride steeper since I can rotate my pelvis more.

My previous saddle was the PD TriStryke (no cutout) and I always had to shift from one side to the other, even when riding on the very tip.

I’ve never ridden the Adamo so I can’t compare the two.

i believe you can test it out for 60 days (not sure of the actually number of days) risk free. Do a search on this forum and you will find it somewhere; i think you even get to keep the tool kit that comes with it.

it is 180 days actually. I am most likely going to do that but it would be nice to have some feedback.

I just got mine too after 600 miles of “adjust time” to the adamo, and never being completely comfortable. I am not a nose rider, but had significant numbness issues on previous saddles (which the adamo fixed, but never allowed me to ride in complete comfort).

No numbness on the v-flow plus either, but I’m not sure I like the extra padding meant for nose riders… as it was pressing in right on my, err, ummm, sack if I had my hips rotated foward properly. The entire time I kept thinking I’d just like to take a razor blade to it and shave off that extra padding up front. The saddle was otherwise completely comfortable.

I’ll give it a few more rides but am considering swapping out for just a standard V-flow, or whatever new cobb saddle is supposedly debuting in April. I think the cobb website would benefit from more guidance on choosing the appropriate saddle.

I’ve recently logged about 200 miles on the Adamo and it solved one problem and caused another. The V Flow + showed up Monday and I’ve only got about 30 miles on it. The lack of pressure in the center is similar to the Adamo which is great. It is a lot softer than the Adamo which helps relieve the intense pressure on the sits bones area. After an hr on the trainer, I noticed some numbness. Mr. Cobb has been extremely helpful via e-mail. He’s provided several things to try to get the saddle dialed in. I have a long ride Saturday so hopefully, I’ll have a verdict very soon. You really don’t have anything to lose so give it a try.

Thanks for all the solid feedback I just spoke with John and I am going to try the flow+ I will be sure to share my experiences here as well.

I’d guess that half the guys who got fitted last Sunday at FISTapalooza got one.
He has a new one with a shorter nose and a deeper nose channel that is due out in late April.

I haven’t, but then again I can’t ride with shorts or saddles with much padding. I don’t recall what you were riding before the Adamo but have you tried the Fizik Arione? I have been through a number of saddles and it is the first one that works for me.

I received mine last week. I’ve only been able to put in two 25 milers but it appears the numbness I had with my other saddle is gone. At least at this distance. It comes with a 180 day no question return policy so I felt I had nothing to lose. It does have a great nose to move up on when you need to.
