I have 11 speed Shimano di2 and was looking for any chains out there that have a quick connect link for the 11 speed chains. Are there any yet?
I’ve got an 11 speed ultegra 6800 chain with a SRAM quick link, works well.
Great…I was wondering if the SRAM 11 would work well with Shimano…as it did with the 10.

The Dura-Ace CN-9000 chain.
Shimano doesn’t make a quick connect link…do they?
Only point to add is that for the KMC 11spd links, and for the SRAM 11spd Powerlinks, they are said to not be reusable. This makes them in my opinion easier to install than the Shimano pins, but you still are supposed to replace them after each disassembly. I have not had the chance to test this, but that is at least what they recommend.
Anyone else try to re-use one yet?
I have reused them at least a few times. But they are a little harder than the Wippermann. The SRAM require a tool…unless you are pretty crafty

I installed it on my bike and it had a connector.
Did you re-use the 10 or the 11 spd? And what did you use the tool for? I’ve had to use a tool to remove the master link, but not sure what tool would be needed to re-use the links.
Not the pin you have to break off…a connecting “link”. The “pin” is a one time use. The links can be used a few times…or many.
I think we are confusing each other / going in circle a little here. To attempt to clarify, both the SRAM and KMC ‘master links’ for the 11 spd chains are said to be non-reusable. For SRAM they say up to 9 spd is reusable and KMC says their 10spd can be re-used, but both claim that the 11spd ‘master links’ are not to be re-used. My interpretation is that yes after you separate them, you can get them back together, but there is a higher likelihood of failure during use. I still have the KMC link on my wife’s 11spd set up since I trust my ability to get the link installed properly than my ability to get the pin inserted and broken off correctly, but keep a spare master link in her wedgepack in case she needs to dis-assemble the chain (I’m still on 10spd).
Still curious if anyone has actually tested or has any experience with re-using the 11 spd KMC or SRAM links.

I’ve re-used SRAM 10-speed links on the same chain, but never taken it from an old to a new chain. Never had any issues.
I’ve re-used SRAM 11sp powerlocks without any problems.
I wasn’t paying attention after the switch to 11s, and switched from 10 kmc links to sram 11s, not realising until a couple months ago that they are not intended to be reused. I have one sram 11s link that I have disconnected, cleaned the chain and rejoined at least 3 times and it’s still going. All good so far.

I got a couple of 9000 series 11-speed chains new-in-box right here, they don’t come with any quick links, just a standard shimano one-time-use 11-speed connector pin (and one spare).
So, I think, no.
