I have a fairly new wetsuit, sleevless ironman stealth but it chokes me like crazy. So I decided to buy a new one. I ordered like $3000 worth of wetsuits and decided that the orca fits the best. Now, I have 2 sizes here and can’t decide which one is better. Is it better to be slightly big? or slightly snug? On the smaller size, it is a little hard to pull the zipper thru my mid back (darn swimmers back) but feels ok when up. Also, I am a fairly good swimmer (around 1hr IM) should I stick with long sleeve? or not?
I am usually around 53 mins for my swim and prefer the full suite - then again I hate the cold!! With regards to fit the zipper shouldn’t be too much of a concern - chances are you will get someone to help you before the start - the main concern should be reach and flexability when swimming…
