Another Trainerroad Question

Have recently become aware of Trainerroad through reading posts in this forum. I have my hybrid bike mounted on a Kinetic Road Machine trainer although I race on a 2012 Cervelo P2. I’m thinking I’d like to train using heartrate and the hybrid versus putting my tri bike on the trainer (another question: CAN I put my P2 on the trainer?). Obviously, I’m sacrificing my ability to train in aero position using the hybrid. What else will I be sacrificing? On the positive side, what benefits should I expect to realize if I approach this diligently over the winter? Input is appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, you can put your P2 on the trainer. Yes, you should. No, you shouldn’t use your hybrid on the trainer.
