Kegels Bicycle store in Rockford Il…one of the best. Sure sure they dont have a fleet of ultra high end bikes on the shelves…but they do have a sweet Orbea with Record Carbon…I can go in there, get anything I need, use tools and on and on…all at HONEST prices. And, there are many racers in there, they work there Barnetts trained mechanics (as I am as well)…and then there is Dan…Dirty Dan…you think you are special? Dan has a frame from Kink bicycles named after him…oh, and he is on the back cover of the #1 BMX magazine in the country…come on out, get an autograph…here he is, with his add…for his frame. They fly this kid (17 years old) all over the world…he is in music videos, MTV and all kinds of stuff…
No, but at least I did not name the “Triathlon Specialist” who is across town who likes to sell people bikes that are the wrong size, not set them up even close to properly and not adjust the brakes and shifting properly either…this guy put “Triathlon Specialist” in the yellow pages as ad spec…none of the people there have ever even done a damn Tri…but like I said, I wont name the shop…that would not be right
