Another P3C sizing Q

First time poster, long time lurker. I’m about 5’10 1/2" and currently ride a 54cm Soloist Team and am considering a P3C. Just wondering what size P3C would be recommended with these measurements: 72cm saddle height, -2 cm saddle to BB, 9 cm saddle to handlebar drop, and 47 cm tip of saddle to handlebar. This is with the seatpost flipped to the forward position.

I’ve ridden my Soloist Team in this forward position (which I’ve already made some adjustments to) and am also aware that these measurements are only a starting point for fitting a P3C. Any words of wisdom would be great. Thanks.

Are you simply trying to replicate the position you have on the Soloist Team, or are you interested in going steeper and lower? It seems to me that if you wanted to replicate that position, you would be on an extremely small P3C, with a crazy long seat post and a whole bunch of spacers. The P2C has a bit more stack to it, and may be a better option, but if you like the position you are in at the moment, and simply want a lighter and more aero frame, the 54cm Soloist Carbon would do the trick.

Thanks for your response. I would eventually like to go steeper as I continue to learn more about this part of the sport. Not sure if this makes much of a difference, but the position on the Soloist Team is on the clip-on aerobars and the measurements were from a FIST fitter.

So, a P2C might actually be a better fit for me considering my current beginner position on my current bike? I just really like the looks of the P3C! Sounds like I would be on a ton of spacers though. If I were to go with a P3C, what size would be best? My assumption based on the info. you provided would a 51cm for a P3C and 54cm for a P2C.

I’ve just read so much on previous posts about some people, about my height, riding P3C’s ranging in size from 51 cm to 56 cm. So I’ve been uncertain about what would work best.
