Hello,
I was recently diagnosed with a chronic disease. As a result I am suffering from two side complications.
One is a fistula, the other is a fissure (needless to say I’m not able to sit on a bicycle seat).
Next Thursday I have an appointment with a proctologist to address these issues.
My question is, in the meantime, is there anything I could be applying to the area to help with healing?
My skin is seeping from these issues and obviously not getting a chance to heal. Should I be exposing the area to air?
Any kind of creme that could be applied to help? Neosporin?

I don’t remember the entire thread but maybe you can find something out. If nothing else you’ll know you’re not alone and that he had it worse.
