Might be safe to say you have never smelled turkey manure spread on a hot day. That makes even pig manure the better alternative. Growing up, there was a huge Turkey farm not too far from my High School. certain June days we begged for the windows to be closed.
I’d take the 1970’s urine stench of NYC over that tureky smell.
When doing RAGBRI and riding across Iowa you can smell the hog farms for miles. Rode with my BIL who said, “You small that? That’s the smell of money!”
Growing up, that’s what we said about the beef packing plant smell in my hometown.
