Macca owns. That is all there is to say about it. He is very aware of how much he shoots his mouth off, and feels no shame for it. He knows who he is and what he is about and he’s going to use that to whatever advantage he can enroute to whooping ass.

You will always love or hate Macca after listening/reading an interview with him! Although he is a competitor with Normann and Kuota, I like him and his energy. Unfortunately for Macca, this is what drives MACCA. Take the Peter Reid incident…I can’t wait for someone to tell Normann that he can’t swim. He will go into German soldier mode, swimming 15k/day, resulting in a 45 min swim next year!

3K per day swim is all I can handle.

Isn’t that how he ended up with the front pack this year? Maybe it wasn’t macca that said he can’t swim, but somebody must have said something in order to put him up there.
The awesome thing about macca to me is that the way he speaks about competition makes ME want to train harder, and that is a good feeling.

Who knows where he got his swim from this year. If we had 4 different people tell him that he is poor at swimming, biking, running and transitions, I think he will go :45, 4:06, 2:40 and transitions so fast they would not register!
I am the opposite. If someone tells me I am sub par at something, I quit!
