Another crotch pain post

i know it’s been talked about a lot

'm 5’11 195 lb 44 year old been into tris for almost a year now . ride a 56cm cervelo dual with the azoto saddle.

i’ve got the pads about even with the saddle a 9cm 17 degree stem flipped to the high side. I feel good in the aero position with one problem the pressure on my pubic bone . I try moving forward backward, trying to think about my sit bones rotating forward and making contact with the leather part of the seat.

it just hurts. I love going fast but I love the way I feel on my lemond too.

I can’t rotate the seat to the side slightly with the cervelo but I 'm not sure that would help anyway. the boys are not hurting it 's the pubic bone.

and let’s face it , I 'm really not interested in getting numb in that area.

any ideas before I turn that dual into a soloist?

Is your seat all the way forward or all the way to the rear - along the rails?

Also - which direction do you have the flippable seatpost - forward or rearward?

seatpost - forward - and forward on the rails - almost all the way.

I did IMFL in November, and by mile 80 my privates were completely numb and I was pissing blood (despite no problems in training). SO, I decided to get a new saddle. I got the expensive Koobi split saddle (I forgot the name, but it cost ~$130). I just did IMAZ, and despite the fact that I wasn’t able to train much this winter, I had NO prostrate or butt pain, and no numbness whatsoever. BTW, I also used a QR seat pad, and wore regular bike shorts.

i tried that seat pad but I hate it. i slide forward on it it’s too slippery

I solved my problem. I took the azoto off and put the selle italia that came stock with the bike back on.

bingo

it just fits me better.
